Position Title: Auto Mechanic / Heavy Commercial Mechanic Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Up to $80,000-$90,000 AUD per annum (approx. ₹50 Lakhs INR) + 12% Superannuation + Overtime

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Auto Mechanic to conduct diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs across our service workshop in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine logbook servicing, engine tuning, brake overhauls, suspension repairs, and transmission servicing. Utilize modern computer diagnostic scan tools to identify mechanical and electrical system faults. Rebuild and replace worn or defective engine components, gearboxes, and fuel systems. Road-test vehicles to verify completed work and prepare roadworthy inspection reports.

Experience

: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a fast-paced mechanical workshop.

Qualifications

: Trade Certificate in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light or Heavy Vehicle). Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across modern vehicle systems.
