Civil Engineer

Manage and maintain Merge Group's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security for all systems. Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, virtualization environments, and cloud computing platforms. Design, implement, and maintain secure computer networks (LAN/WAN) across various regional locations, ensuring seamless connectivity to company ERP solutions. Implement and manage cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and data backup/recovery solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for all staff. Collaborate with development teams on the implementation and integration of new software applications and ERP solutions. Develop and maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, and troubleshooting guides. Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent outages and optimize resource utilization. Contribute to IT strategy and planning to support the company's growth and technological advancements.

Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor-level degree in an ICT-related area (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering). High-level knowledge and practical experience in: Computer Network Administration (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs). Cloud Computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. Computer Network Security principles and implementation. Proven experience in connecting diverse regional networks to central ERP systems.

Experience

or strong understanding of software application development and implementation lifecycles. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
