Electrician

Summary: We are seeking a skilled and licensed Electrician to join our dynamic construction team on high-profile projects across Australia. As a key member of the site operations, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000) and safety regulations. Responsibilities

: Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, conduits, switches, outlets, and lighting systems in accordance with design specifications and safety standards. Interpret and analyze electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Troubleshoot electrical faults and conduct repairs efficiently to minimize downtime and project delays. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and ensure seamless integration of electrical components. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including as-built drawings, test results, and safety checklists. Adhere strictly to WHS (Work Health and Safety) protocols, conduct site risk assessments, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Participate in site safety meetings and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in safety and quality.

: Valid and current Australian electrical license (Class C or equivalent) with relevant state registration. 4–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and/or residential construction environments. Proven track record of working on projects involving low-voltage systems, switchboards, earthing, and lighting installations. In-depth knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), AS/NZS 3012, and other relevant Australian electrical standards. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, cable pullers,multimeters, and testing equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in multidisciplinary construction teams. Willingness to work on-site across various locations, including remote or challenging environments. Current white card and relevant safety certifications (e.g., Working at Heights, Forklift License – preferred). Work
