About this programme
Programme overview
In addition to grammar, all essential vocabulary required for A1-level communication will be included. The course also emphasizes the ability to understand and produce basic forms of spoken and written German through:
- Gespräch (simple conversations and role-plays)
- Informeller Brief (informal letters)
- Formeller Brief (formal letters)
Course Features:
- Weekly tests to evaluate grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension
- Vocabulary assessments to reinforce retention and contextual usage
- Regular speaking practice to build fluency and communication skills
- Supplementary worksheets, listening exercises, and home assignments for further support
- Personalized feedback and individual attention from the instructor
By the end of the A1 course, students will be able to:
- Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases
- Introduce themselves and others, ask and answer questions about personal details
- Read and write basic texts, including formal and informal letters
- Demonstrate understanding of key grammatical rules and sentence structures
At the end of the course, students will appear for an internal A1-level examination, modeled after the Goethe-Institut exam pattern.
